Next Labor Day weekend, at the Los Angeles LAX GAMEX (Strategicon) convention, WR is running his large 12x6 tabletop scenario for the Battle of the Pyramids 1798. Sweating French republicans see the sandy desert, Nile River palms and dhows, the entrenched occupied village of Embabeh, the massed Mameluke and Arabic cavalry, and the distant pyramids as spectators. Scenario set for Saturday afternoon. strategicon.net Additional information for the scenario and a previous AAR on scenario posted to WR. That looks like it will be a highly entertaining game! I'm still trying to see if I can attend Strategicon. I had such a blast at the last one that I really want to go again. To be pedantic, isn't the Labor Day Strategicon called Gateway? GAMEX was the Memorial Day one. |

Yep… my Bad…. this convention is called GATEWAY for the Labor day convention. I was at the last one too…… called Gamex running the napoleonic Alcolea 1808 scenario. Both are Strategicon events. Cannot fix the message board title line. |

Wow, really looks great! Depending on family schedule I may be able to attend the con that Saturday just to play in your game. Is pre-registration required or will there be spots available on the day…? |

Hope to see you Mad Guru. 8 spots for sure at the table. Expert at shoehorning in more. This time the French divisional square formations have their own sabot holding the entire miniature formation. Ease of movement and save time. Michael aka WR |
