So, as someone with a bunch of RT-era 40k stuff, what place can be found for Space Marines in Gates of Antares ? Do they substitute for one of the factions easily ? Is GoA flexible enough to allow them as a new faction ? Perhaps with a points system ? TIA |

It would be an interesting project- transfering 40K forces to GoA. Nobz in mega-armour could use Ghar battlesuit stats and grots could count as outcasts. The Space Marines are a little trickier I think. |

There doesn't seem to be a best soldiers with best weapons force as of yet. The Alogryn are the best soldiers. The Concord have the best weapons. The Ghar are primitive and poor soldiers but have the heaviest core troops both in terms of armor and firepower. Freeborn seem to mostly be average guys with average weapons. Isorians are evil (or perhaps Linux)Concord. |

Is there a pointing system in the index like the other Warlord books? |

If you mean using them as proxy then Algoryn is probably the best faction for type of units, squad weapons flexibility and models type. If you mean importing the setting into the rules it shouldn't be too hard but my question is why? Don't you like a fresh new setting without space marines and skullz??? |
