Sorry for the short notice… Today at 2pm EST TCM is showing the 1939 version of "The Four Feathers". Following that they are showing "Time Bandits"! |

Watched it today…seen the 2002 version…it was okay…thought the 1939 version was excellent. No CGI, good acting (for the most part), and WOW, looks like it was shot much later than 1939. Two thumbs up! |

Yes, I am in awe of how many camels and horse there were at the last battle. It looked great. And here is a bit of trivia. In that last battle as the dervish charge, the first shot of them charging, with the camera following along, you can see a hat blow into the shot and get trampled. One of the camera crew lost their hat. Blown off by the wind. |
