I am painting modern US troops for a Baltic campaign in the new OCP camo pattern. I would like to spray one of the camo colors as a basecoat then stipple with 2 or 3 other colors to get the basic effect.

I was considering either army painter "necrotic flesh" or "army green" as the basecoat with other colors stippled on. Any suggestions on which spray would make the best basecoat color?
Thanks in advance.

OCP, is that the doesn't-hide-you-anywhere pattern?

Base khaki or rotting flesh. spatter with Gunship Gray and Gunship green or close equivalents.

Oops, no OCP is the not-Multicam.

Basecoat for that is actually desert pink, with large splotches of khaki, medium green, and medium brown, and small spots of cream and burnt umber.
