I've been working on this for a while, trying to create a blank canvas that can sit in may eras without looking out of place. Its mainly Hovels and Ainsty Castings resin pieces mounted on sectional 3mm MDF. There is more about it on my Blog ~ link I'm hoping to use it from the SYW to 1940 ~

Splendid even in more recent settings with few additions to represent the "old town quartr" |

Very nice! A suggestion, if I may: possibly worth having a small piece or two you can easily swap out to set a period--an outhouse and stocks early on? A telegraph pole or telephone booth--or a WWI memorial--for Operation Sealion and VBCW? But the castings do a lot of that, and this is first-rate work just as it stands. |
