Ok, the weekend is here, and that means more time for conversions;) Here I used the head of a French elite Hussar and pinned it to the body of an ADC from the French adc set of 6 figures. I decided to paint him according to a print by Knoetel as an ADC to general Vandamme in 1813. I might do another one of these and paint up as a French legere infantry officer. Sorry for the lousy picture quality. Tomorrow I hope to finish another conversion, one of Mortiers Guides. Hope you like it! The brassard on his arm….I might be able to manage the gold edging in 28mm….but in 15/18mm scale…impressive. your conversions are inspiring. I love to see such work and want more. Let's have a pioneer of Mamelukes next……..?

If I was ever an ADC I would pick this simple but still very fashionable uniform for field service. Really nicely done!
