This has been going very well. We will be completing an intention round at a game at my place on the 20th, and we will complete the third battle engendered when the round started. (I had to take a month off to run The Weekend.) I will be seeing if I can fill up some of the non player positions (6) in the roster. I figure the start of a new round with the taking of "orders or intentions" is a good time to bring in new players. I think I finally got this one done to where there is a minimum of work and record keeping. Almost none in fact.

If anyone wants to try taking a position in the game (you don't have to be there for the table top battles,) let me know.

Hey. I'd like a position in the game. My email is bhersey36@gmail.com

Ottoathome17 Aug 2016 6:52 p.m. PST

Dear Bhersey36

I have three positions left.

The Empire of Ikea

The Grand Duchy of the Grand Duke of Gorgonzola

The Kingdom of Sweeta

The Princessipate of Saxe Burlap und Schleswig Beerstein.

All of the countries are more or less equal. Each of them also has a sovereign with a unique personality.

send me an e-mail at sigurd@eclipse.net and I will send you the control sheets for each so you can look them over and make your choice. You can also send me your postal address there and I will send you the rules (very thin, 8 or 10 pages.

So how is the campaign going? Love "Imagination" armies and the back story's are often very interesting.

Dear Part Time Gamer

I have three battle reports to post here. I have to get them shaped up for this, as I was giving first priorityto getting them set up for issues of "Saxe N' Violets" with lots of photos, maps, etc.

Soon.

We now have a full slate with all positions I the campaign taken. Many from literally around the world are now playing. While they can't take part in the battles at my house I am willing to let them resolve it remotely, but most are OK with locals being their "generals." The game does not require a lot of input, and it has NO record keeping to speak of. I will post results of battles here, or in Saxe N'Violets.

I also use a one-page control sheet I can electronically send to the players along with a one page precis of what happened and why in some cases I decided to do what I did.
