Usually when I go to the HMGS East cons I GF9 sells circular bases in bulk, but am looking to pick some up before the next convention.

So, I am looking for someone who sells 20mm,30mm and 40mmm wooden bases in bulk cheap. (Bulk being 100 or more)

Hopefully 3mm or less thickness. I know Litko sells some but at times it has taken 5 weeks to get items from them and they aren't the cheapest.

So I thought I would see if there is someone out there who can point me in the right(cheap) direction.

Thanks

Moe

You might want to try 6-Squared Studios in St Catharines,Ontario. A little more in postage but you' ll save 20/25 per cent on the dollar exchange.

I had never heard of them, I'll give them a look.

Warbases ( link ).

They do 2mm and 3mm MDF in a huge variety of shapes and sizes as well as a wide range of movement trays and other stuff. Reasonable prices and really great service. We usually get stuff within 2 weeks (UK to Virginia).

Warbases, without a doubt!

Did you get the bases with Magnet holes? If so how did they work out?

BCantwell03 Aug 2016 12:47 p.m. PST

I have not used the magnet hole trays or bases yet

@Moe the Great

@Jim, Thanks that helps a lot. That's a very helpful article.

Much appreciated.

@Moe the Great

Up to about a year ago I scratch built all my bases including those that needed a magnetic component.

I pretty well use a Warbases product for all my bases now including personally designed items.

Give this a shout krakenskulls.com they do some stock stuff, but they have made custom sizes for me so shouldn't be a problem for what you want. I had reall quick turn around from them too.

Hi Moe… we can do a lot better than 5 weeks nowadays. Place an order with us and then shoot us an email and let us know your deadline.

We'll make it happen.

Thanks everyone. It's always good to hear about places I didn't know about.

@Ken, Thanks for letting me know, I know it's been a few years but I miss seeing you at the HMGS east cons.

Did you try Michael's or Hobby Lobby?

I followed the same pattern now I just go with Warbases. I have bought them with the 3mmx2mm holes but in the future I would do as JimDuncanUK has done and go with the 5mmx2mm holes.

Edit: I should add that I have also had good service from Litko as well, never more than three weeks and I am in Canada (stuff can get delayed in customs).

…….and I am in Canada (stuff can get delayed in customs).

If you're in Canada, check out 6 Squared Studios. Shipping is about a week.

I'm a big Litko fan too, and buy all my magnetic adhesive stuff from them.
