The Campaign has hit its base goal. We have a week left to hit at least one (or more) of our stretch goals. Please help spread the word. If you know folks that are gamers send them a link. We are gamers that write games for gamers. As is obvious from my efforts I'm not a great business person or marketer. I am a good story teller and can write solid mechanics. The folks who add content are also gamers. Our idea is that unless we would be satisfied with our products as a consumer they get reworked until they are something we would be happy to take home and game with. We think you will feel the same way. Please help us out and help us have a great final week of this effort. I'll be at Gencon running in the JW on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If anyone will be there please let me know and say hello!

Thank you all for the time it took to come by this campaign and see what we are doing. If you supported thank you for that. If you are spreading the word, again, thank you!

Tsofian, every time you promote your KS, you should include your link. Good luck.

Not quite what I was expecting, from the Star of Empire 'Kansas' headline.

tsofian07 Aug 2016 5:25 p.m. PST

I can easily set an adventure in Kansas! We have three days or so left. We are pretty close to our first stretch goal. We'd love to get there (and the first stretch goal is a book of adventures, so Kansas might well be in the offing!)

Less than 1000.00 to go and a couple of days to make it happen. Any help (support, spreading the word) is extremely welcome!

Ladies and Gentlemen

It is with not little gratitude that I send this missive (I'm practicing my flowery period phrasing for the flavor text!). I want to thank everyone for their support. Its been a long campaign running from Diecon in June through Origins and just past Gencon. In that time I've gotten to meet a lot of great folks and been vastly rewarded by their interest in Stars of Empire and the rest of the Hive, Queen and Country Universe. We have already developed substantial drafts for all three products. Cover artists have been selected for the two books that will need them, as we will be keeping Rachael Mayo's original cover for the Referee's Core Book. Paul Daly has agreed to do the Players' book cover and Brent Chumley the Vehicle Book. We are also pleased to announce that Proving Ground Games will be our editors. This will mean a substantial increase in the readability and visual presentation of our books. We are excited to be working with such talented folks!

But in all honesty we are excited that our backers thought enough about the stories we tell to help us bring them to a larger audience.

Thank you so much!

Is it gonna be ready by next may?

tsofian18 Aug 2016 1:39 p.m. PST

We have a hard date of August 2017 for fulfillment. We hope to have it early. I would say that May is not out of the question. I wouldn't bet on May but I can shoot for it.

Shthar
Is there any one you want first? Is there a particular reason you need them by May?
