Very nice review of the CLB rules. It does have some very nice twists as you say. I've been designing my own rule set for about 2 years now and hopefully will get them out in some sort of format soon. I fight The Crimean War in 15mm, primarily using MiniFig and Rank & File. If you're interested I can send off some pictures to you. I will try to secure a set of these rules. Cheers! skip |

My friend David Raybin is off trying a case ( and his patience) and has no internet access to speak of where he is. I advised him of the wonderful review and nice comments about his game rules he designed. He asked me to post this fantastic scenario of the battle of Balaclava from a few years back for folks to enjoy. The cover sheet looks identical to the Rules but the content is new and gives a novel account of the battle and some designer's notes and a play sheet of the rules. Here is the PDF link The Rules have a now-dead link to the Crimean Wargame yahoo site , here is the current – live link There are 577 members and David swears he will cap the group at the noble 600 !
