Very impressive. Just what I've needed for my Russian village for CoC. Got one on order.

I'd like to know how it was painted. I think I'm seeing washes, a little bit of dry brushing (more on the roof).

What color was it primed d'ye reckon?

Thanks for mentioning the scale -- now if I could just get you to put it in your titles, it'd save me from opening a lot of posts that turn out to be of no interest to me.

Nice church. Painting tips would be nice.

Don, agree, one of my pet peeves, too. Scale in the title allows me to sort through all of the posts more efficiently with fewer deadends.

The scale thing doesn't bother me. I don't game in 20mm, but I still like seeing Piers lovely painted models that he posts. If I stuck strictly to my scale interests I might miss out on some inspiring stuff.

Hi chaps, I have just been advised that my design is featured here. I did a tutorial on painting wood effects in my blog: charliefoxtrotmodels.com
Here yo can find a step by step guide on how I paint wood effects, colours and paint brands too. This kit is my most recent, bringing the total in the range to 8 with more planned. Colin.

Yes, but you'd have the information there to base a decision on. I'm not saying I might never look at something out of my scale, but I'd like to know, so I can decide for myself.

Think of all the great tips and techniques you'd miss. Are you really saving that much time?

It takes longer to complain about it… and it comes off snarky.

FWIW…. Just my opinion.

Love the church by the way.
