Issue 400 of Miniature Wargames with Battlegames describes my game as run during CRISIS 2015, using flat figures from the Woodens range.

Oh, how I wish Woodens were still available. That looks like it was a fun game. And the mountains are a perfect complement to the Wooden's figures.

I was there on the day and appreciated very much the quality of that scenario. In particular the figures were wonderful. They make me think when I played with my father many years ago with Napoleonic armies cut from balsa wood by him and painted with watercolor. I still have them all!

Hey fellas, if you like wooden soldiers, I highly recommend Skull and Crown:

They are really fun to paint and play with.
I've been using them for some Imagi-Nations stuff.

Phil- Love your game set up- was totally jealous of it when my pals sent pics from the con. I own exactly one of the Windcatcher woodens, and cherish it.

Thanks for sharing!
