Yes, 216 pages and much artwork but still… for a softcover…


I guess for a specialist this would be appropriate but a generalist like myself, outside my normal book budget.

Yes, it's a specialist book and not required for painting a 28mm musket. Dark brown, middle brown, gunmetal and a touch of brass, done.

It is a book for those who want to dig deeper into the subject matter. As for price, I understand that it may be a lot of money to come up with at once, but it is only the cost of two Ospreys.

If I were starting over painting my FIW French, I would grab it toot sweet. That's not a bad price, unfortunately. grin
