Heres another headswap I did today. The body is a French Elite Hussar trooper and the head is from a Dutch cavalry trumpeter I had lying around. I painted him as an ADC to Murat. I know, lots of little mistakes, like the sash etc, but he will have to do;) I think I might do more Hussars in bicorne as various ADCs, kind of like the look of it.. Anyway, thanks for looking. And any and all advice on painting is much appreciated! Cheers! Dr J

Dorsenne, the " Napolitano" spelling was probably appropriate 200 years ago; (based on the local dialect, Napulitane is probably more correct). I know people,with the surname Napolitano, whose ancestors originally came from Naples. The Napoletano version is, I believe, a modern Italian spelling. The evolution of language is nearly as fascinating as wargaming! |
