Hello Everyone,
***
Below is the link to the fun 54mm Colonial game played at the home of Jim P. (Der Alte Fritz) on 23 July 2016. This was amazing fun as I hope the report visually shows.
***
Several images are very different. I trust these make this AAR unique. You've not seen photos like these before here:

Spend a few minutes with General Pettygree, Captain Waverleigh, Winston and the eight of us walking the hot sands of The Sudan in 1898, will you? It will only take 5-10 minutes.

Respectfully,
Bill

PS Jim's tabletop is out of this world stunning.

Again, absolutely beautiful minis, Bill. Can't believe someone was daft enough to paint the ribbons!

My God! What fun. I was feeling a little jaded about the hobby and life in general but THIS has picked me up. Thank You. Thoroughly enjoyed it. H

Lion and Ferd,
Thank you for your interest.
Ferd I'm very glad to have provided a miniatures tonic too.
Respectfully,
Bill P

1) Dear readers, you now have the story of the Battle of Tokar from the standpoint of the 54mm soldiers under my command.

If they can talk then surely it's best to get the account from those who were present.

Great painting on those figures as well. Inspiring stuff.

I loved your ARR and the pics were great.

54mm gaming and mini's in general have always amazed me. Maybe the scale brings back those "Green Army Men" days?
But I have to say, I would never consider painting my own on that scale, 28's are as large as I want to 'take on'. I know my skill, and the hands just to shaky now to do them justice.

But beautiful armies you and your friends have Bill. Also, I Totally Agree, its the time with friends, THAT is what really makes gaming a joy.
