I've been gifted a load of proper 70s-80s 25mm ECW, which I intend to use with Peter Pig's Regiment of Foote – the first edition. I'm about halfway through basing, and I reckon I'm going to come up 10-15% light on the points, and these won't match the lists minimums (I'm going to be light on cavalry).

Will this effect the game/balance? Do I need to reduce the Campaign Points at the start?

I'm not keen on bulking up the army with more purchases- that is time and painting that should be going to my original 10mm ECW plan.

Thought from RoF players please.

You might use half sized units (3 foot bases instead of 6 and 2 cav bases instead of 4) and use a damage marker to indicate current strength??

good luck

I thought of that, but it affects frontages, unless I halve all measurements.

I'm happy to go with 400-450 point armies, just wondered if I should make any adjustments to Campaign points.

You could deploy all units in single rank and that would do it!??
