Today we played a game set in the Vendée in the 1790s. I have posed a brief report here stracmark.blogspot.co.nz

thanks for postink Mark….very well done…some of the Vendée purposly designe by Foundry are among my favourites…your search and destroy mission by Republicans make me thing at the infamous "Colonnes infernales"…i'm also buildng similar armies…my Vendéeans and Chouans are made out a few Foundry and quite a few old and unfortunatly no more available Touller figurines…your terrain is very good and historically accurate Marais, forest, swamps really influenced the war..i see them, for wargame purposes, something to be assimilated at a Colonial war..so i've almost finish to make rules amendments of the famous set TSATF…

Same here Marc…. a great inspiration effort to paint more Vendeans lurking in the raw lead pile.

Thanks guys, we had a lot of fun with this, but I can't take the credit for the setup of the game, I merely participated in the event and recorded it.
