"If you thought Lucasfilm had expended its Rogue One: A Star Wars Story teases at Star Wars Celebration Europe last week, you're wrong. While it's nothing close to a new trailer or behind-the-scenes-video, Lucasfilm did unveil a new Rogue One character on the floor at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 yesterday. The aptly named Edrio Two Tubes is described as a mercenary pilot who is partners with his eggmate, Benthic. His breathing apparatus allows his Tognath physiology to process oxygen atmospheres, and when his home world of Yar Togna is conquered by the Empire, he sets out to join the resistance and fight alongside Saw Gerrera.

Gerrera is a character who first appeared on the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and he's being brought to life in live-action form by way of Forrest Whitaker in the first Star Wars anthology film.

It's unclear if Edrio Two Tubes will be a fully fledged supporting character or just a cool-looking dude who lurks in the background, but given the size of the ensemble already, I'm betting it's the latter. However, given that he's a pilot, hopefully we get to see some visually unique scenes involving this tube-infused alien…"
