"Liam Neeson is in the business of winning wars, not losing them. The Taken actor next transforms into General Douglas MacArthur, who led United Nations and South Korean forces in a military operation that would turn the tide in the Korean War against North Korea. The historic moment is dramatized in Operation Chromite, named for said military operation, and a new trailer has arrived online.

The Battle of Incheon began on September 15, 1950 and ended a few days later on September 19, leading to the recapture of Seoul, the South Korean Capitol, and the end of North Korea's series of victories. The operation preceded the battle.

Korean director John H. Lee (The Third Way of Love) helms Operation Chromite, which tells of "the heroes whose lives were sacrificed" for this longterm success. The film also features Lee Jung-Jae as South Korean captain Jang Hak-soo, Lee Bum-soo as North Korean commander Lim Gye-Jin, and Jin Se-Yun as Han Chae-sun."

That sounds pretty interesting so far …

The CGI of the naval ops is some of the worse CGI I've ever seen. Makes the ship models from "In Harms Way" look positively spiffy.
