Is there a shop in the MD/Virginia area that carries Howard Hues paints?

No idea but I know back in the day they were just Sherwin Williams acrylic paint color matched to the Howard Hues color specs. If you have some old paint left paint it on a piece of white cardboard and take it to the store and have them mix you up a can.

Shame, Dayton Painting Consortium carried them at Historicon last week.

It is true the line is "house paint" but it is NOT just "Sherwin Williams." It is a specific type that has much more pigment than typical house paint. Typical house paint works great for terrain but will not have any kind of coverage for miniatures.

If all else fails htey are available online from the Last Square.

Also available from Monday Knight Productions.
