Afternoon all. A red hot day in Blighty and whilst I am meant to be finishing off the Sharp Practice FAQ, it's too hot to think, so I scribbled this ARR from a game we played last week.

You can find the report on Lard Island News, here: toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/?p=5988

And here's some snaps.

Cheers

Ooo! Pretty! Love those grenzers, yes SP2 is perfect for this period. Nice one Rich I can virtually smell the beer and knockwerst.

Stirring stuff indeed, but shouldn't that be schnaps ;-)

I'd be happy to refight with both beer and schnapps!

It is a great fun way to get into a period that I had long wanted to do, but with a limited expense. Fifty figures a side gives a great game. In this one the Strudelheimers (read Austrians) has just 12 foot figures, 8 mounted ones and two guns and crews.

Let's be honest here. You know as a true wargamer, you can't stop with just 50 figures a side. 🤔😏

I think the animal welfare people might have something to say about that third picture.

45thdiv. You're right, I don't stop at fifty, but it's nice to be able to get started with fifty.

Nice report!
Will you be adding part 5 to your YouTube channel anytime soon?
I would love to see a battle like that in Lardovision !
Looking toward to it!
