Enjoy! YouTube link This does look good and more than a nod to the Expanded Universe! |

On of my favorite shows right now. Waiting for the second season to come out on DVD. I wonder how much time HAS passed since the end of the second season? |

<set to the tune of the Imperial March> Thrawn, Thrawn, Thrawn, Thrawn, Thrawn, Thrawn, Thrawn…. -Will |

Really need to watch this; what I saw of the CGI Clone Wars cartoon was quite watchable and this looks even better. Plus THRAWN! Now if they reintroduce Mara Jade I'm all in on the new continuity. -Will |

Outrider – or at least another YT-2400 – Also confirmed. This is actually quite the epic event. It's more than a nod to the EU; it confirms that Disney IS willing to extend its hand to Timothy Zahn (who reports to be writing for some of the third season of Rebels) and opens up massive amounts of his content that now can be compatible with the movie universe. |

Yep, substitute Ben Solo for the twins and you could almost use the Heir to the Empire trilogy as-is…. -Will |

And regarding Outrider, Shadows the Empire basically could also fit into the 'new' timeline with almost no changes. -Will |

The black sun are already canon (TCW did it – Maul arc). The YT-2400 is already canon (it was in the execrable edition of ep4 escaping Tattooine). That said, there is no "new canon" only canon. The EU never was canon. |

@chromedog- note quite; the old EU was 'secondary canon' under the old Lucasfilm system, and was internally self-consistent (mostly). Disney decided to ditch the old EU entirely and relegated it to the 'Legends' label, to give themselves a clean slate to work from. The intent is that ALL *new* media going forward will be part of one unified canon. But they are bringing in old EU elements as time goes on, so I suspect the 'new' Star Wars canon, whatever it looks like, will still look like the old EU is some ways. -Will |

@Tom Reed – A co-worker of mine said that he read they advanced the time line 10 years for this season. |
