To "test out the visuals" for an upcoming convention game, I brought out my 54mm Wild West stuff:

Great stuff! The only thing that spoils the retro-quality for me is the hex tiles. We didn't have those as kids in the Sixties.

We'll use our house rules, which in turn are based on a little set called "Shootist", that was published in the early nineties.
