Looking for figures I can use for Army late war Pacific battles . I can't seem to find plain Army in Hbts and helmets without covers ? Any ideas

Brigade games has an entire Pacific theatre line of figures. Check and see what they have.

I just checked Brigade Games and they have US Marines & Australians but no US Army.

I've been calling to US Army for the Pacific for ears with no results.

Maybe use the Warlord plastic Marines with plain-helmet headswaps?

Noticeably different uniform. I just don't understand why we can't get somebody to produce the right figures, there seems to be some demand for them. All kinds of figures every German, Soviet, British are produced but we can't get any US Arm for the Pacific. Plenty of Marines but even though the Army had more troop and conducted more landing that the Marines still no Army.

Ok, rant over

I totally hear you jdginaz, but for conversion purposes, it seems to me that the main difference is the number and type of front blouse pockets. I don't own the Warlord Marines, but I wonder in how many of the poses are the front pockets even visible? It's an easy putty conversion when they are.

One of the biggest problems for me is the helmet covers . In point of fact many WWII Marines including my Father ( 1st Div ,Okinawa ) said there company never where issued camo helmet covers . A family friend of ours was a Guadacanal Marine that never had one either . That being said I don't think Ive seen many if any Army with helmet covers .
