one source i have says 22mm
another source says 35mm
france produced a upgraded version after war is that what the 35mm refers to, or is 35mm effective due to armor angle

According to New Vanguard 173, French tanks of WW1, the FT Renault's armour thickness is 16mm hull front, hull sides 8mm and the turret is either 22mm (cast) or 16mm (riveted).
