The middle section, which apparently was missing for quite come time, has been reproduced in Vincent Cronin's Napoleon Bonaparte: An Intimate Biography on page 449-451.

The original when the book was written by Cronin was owned by Nigel Samuel of London. The beginning and end of the fictional work is apparently in the Warsaw Library.
