Most of these pics are during setup. Once we got playing we were so busy I forgot to get more pics.

Excellent stuff. In the 'grand manner' with super terrain and lovely troops.

Well done indeed.

Very nice. Were they 6mm or larger?

TMPWargamerabbit15 Jul 2016 3:37 p.m. PST

Great looking game. Excellent and time effort shows.

Suggestion…. next time for the card fold town or village name plate maybe paint up a oversized "roadway" signpost with the location name and place in town / village center. White flat sheet or materials show up all too clearly in early photographs. Also maybe print the white rules or cheat sheets on a dull "brown" paper to blend into the tabletop terrain too.

I went by a couple of times, also think they looked great.

45th,10mm. Really gives a sense of mass.

what rules are you using? The game looks great!

Bowman15 Jul 2016 6:53 p.m. PST

The table looked impressive even without the troops! Like the gentle undulating topography, looks so natural. Beautiful looking game and well deserved PELA.

Great looking game! They look like 10 or 15mm.

I saw it in person after viewing the progress of building it and i was blown away. Hope you win the gm of the year award.

+1 Bowman's comment.

As noted above the white labels and play sheets detract from the presentation but it's still really fabulous and the type of terrain I wish we saw more often.

Inspiring.

Very impressive and great to view.

This was the nicest terrain I have seen at Historicon so far this year. And to answer a question up the thread, figs appeared to be Old Glory Magnificent Little Soldiers; very well painted. The GM lifted most of the labels at the start of play and they were not a distraction when viewed in person.

As ACWBill said, best terrain I've seen. Pictures don't do it justice. In general, the overall terrain boards seem better then other years.

MDavout16 Jul 2016 3:30 p.m. PST

Superb Terrain. Great job!

Bowman16 Jul 2016 5:35 p.m. PST

I agree with Dale, the table tops looked better than in recent memory.

Greyalexis17 Jul 2016 10:04 p.m. PST

Wow. that's all I can say… great table and minis

Xintao!
Congrats to you and your team!
All your hard worked paid off here.
The battle field looked really great at Historicon in person!
