Hi guys I've done a lot of prep work on my next army…..centering on micropanzer's wonderful amakudari troopers.

I have seen many of Jason's paint jobs of his amakudari troops….but I am having a tough time deciding on color scheme.

Micro-panzer infantry
Raven star studios vehicles
Warlord games Ghar drones.
Art crime production drone too

I think they fit well together for an alien force….I tend to paint in greens and Browns….I'm leaning towards red but worried about that taking too long.

Also any advice for power armor and command…lots of poses with the amakudari but no PA or command guys. 🤓

If you want to go red prime them white, paint in your favourite red and then apply a wash (I use the GW washes)

What about using Micropanzers Gitungi for power armor? He has several varieties, some of them heavier than others.

Google 'Abel fly reel' for some inspiration.

You may need to check a paint conversion chart, but the old Citadel Foundation paint "Mechrite Red" was incredible, one coat coverage over black primer. Whatever GW replaced it with is just as good.

Other options are the Reaper Master Series HD paints.

It takes a bit longer, but I use P3 Sanguine Base and P3 Skorne Red for most of my red painting. Sometimes I add Vallejo Model Color Vermillion and then VMC Scarlet for the top highlights, depending on how bright I'm going.
