link Obviously NSFW… As an aside, I hope the D&D write him into the next season, even if the scripts are already written. Hollywood lore has it that Jackson showed up on set of one of the Star Wars prequels. Lucas said, "Want to try on a robe?" And Sam said "Can I say 'May the Force be with you?'" Sure. And he came back in III because he was promised he wouldn't have a "punk ass death". IMHO, he was the best part. But anyway, GoT needs Samuel L Jackson. I never realized that until a few minutes ago. Surely the coolest actor in Hollywood can have a part penciled in for him. |

Don't watch GoT… …but this is pushing me to it! |

And the end of GoT is easy as well. The woman with the dragons wins. |

"AFTER ALL THAT, YOU STILL STUCK ON THESE @*%#@ DRAGONS?!" |

That was the best part of my day so far. |

Dragons breath fire, fire destroys White Walkers, so the winner is obvious. |

I'm sure the Night's King has taken dragons into account. If not, it would be a rather dumb anticlimactic ending. |

What is the phrase at the end of the last book? One (being) turns to the other and says Summer is Coming. That's how I think it ends. P.S And Samuel Jackson is 'too cool for school'! |

"If not, it would be a rather dumb anticlimactic ending." Yep. |

I was kind of waiting to hear John Travolta say "oh man, I chopped Ned's head off". And of course the big ending has nothing to do with who is on the Iron Throne, it's how do you stop the White Walkers and the Night King who is magic in his own right? |

Whack job tin foil hat theory #345.6: The White Walkers are actually the Good Guys. Their purpose is to save the World from Dragons. So far I have seen no real empirical evidence to support this, but it's Out There on the Interwebs. |

the Night's King has taken dragons into account Well he is sort of dead and well figures that there are no more Dragons. |
Winston Smith | 13 Jul 2016 10:43 p.m. PST |
Oh come on. Like the dead are past caring? |
VVV reply | 14 Jul 2016 3:21 a.m. PST |
If I wanted to go up against dragons, I would want to be fire-proof or at the very least fire-resistant. So I don't think the White Walkers make good dragon hunters. |

The White Walkers bring Winter and the cold with them. What if dragons get sluggish in the cold, and can't flame? |

There has to be a point to Samwell going to the Library. He finds something about the White Walkers, that's why he went. And now that Jon is a King he can pardon Samwell and release him from his Night's Watch vows to become his Maester. I suspect that when all is said and done Jon&Sam, Dany, and Bran will all have a piece of the puzzle of how you beat the white Walkers and the final season will be about them coming together. And I have a feeling the Melisandre and her "Lord of Light" play into this somehow, who knows, with Cersei having pretty much wiped out the Religion of the 7 maybe she teams up with Melisandre and bad stuff ensues. After all, as Davos said, if your god tells you to burn little girls "your god is evil". Maybe the whole point will be that there is a middle ground for Westeros, between the Dead and Religious Fanaticism. |

In the Lord of the Rings, the Red Book of Westmarch was Tolkien's "source" for the history. It was started by Bilbo and finished by, wait for it, Sam. A popular theory is that the history of this conflict was written by … Sam. That is why Sam is at the Citadel. Conbine this with Bran's greensight and some weird stuff can be coming down. Mainly, I think that having two Sams is no coincidence. #2 Sam is not just at the Citadel on a research project and to collect light sabers. Or, "Could it be that…." |

Well Sam will find something in there that will help in the War against the Undead. |
