"Well, it's happened again. The world's come to an end. Damnit, Carl, I told you to not eat that tainted meat! Now there's zombies all over everywhere! Though I'm sure, to the vast majority of you, The Walking Dead TV series on AMC certainly needs no introduction. You know all about the exploits of the small group of survivors, trying to stay one step ahead of the zombies while stress and tension look to rip the group apart (sometimes seemingly much more likely than the zombies ripping the group apart). Well, Cryptozoic has just launched a Kickstarter campaign for a new board game, The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary, which brings that setting to your tabletop…"

Dang it Armand!

Only 1 hour into my day and I am now $210 USD poorer. Not only did you "force" me to buy into this kickstarter, but I found another one for Outbreak Survivor Miniatures…..

Looks like Crypto *finally* gave us something worth backing! Both the $75 USD and $115 USD EB levels give us the eight characters on the box. The $115 USD EB also includes both expansions.

The Bradley Twins, the designers of WDNS, have worked on several games for FFG, including Descent and Gears of War.

Hopefully, the miniatures will turn out well. I passed on Mantic's WD partially because I didn't like the proportions of the mini's, and Mantic's fulfillment of Dungeon Saga.

Anne Cooper, part of Reaper Miniature's "Paint Crew", painted these mini's for Crypto to display at the San Diego Comic Con.

For those just finding out about the campaign, we've unlocked enough SG's to make a KS-exclusive expansion. So the No Sanctuary Tier (both EB levels are the same) gets you the base game and *three* expansions.

Specifically, here's what's been unlocked:
* 4+ survivor miniatures / variants
* 5 rivals (vs. 10 in an expansion set)
* 10 zombies
* 4 game tiles
* plus the Vision of Lori NPC figure.

Last few hours! Only 8.5K to the last SG!

It was a success in the end. Hope the game and fullfillment campaign will live true to the promise, and I will be eagerly awaiting the shipment ;)
