Does anyone know how many flags were carried by each Prussian Garrison regiment during the 7YW? Was it 1 per company per battalion…or what? I know that some Garrison regts. had 4 battalions but not sure on flag allotment.
Thanks in advance.

I have one flag per battalion but in fact Garrison Regiments 1 – 13 had both a Liebfahne and an Ordinar-fahne

Under Frederick it was normal for a line regiment to carry one flag for each company, except the grenadiers. So each battalion had five colours, with the first having the colonel's colour and four company colours, and others five company colours. I have not seen anything to suggest the garrison regiments were any different.

Thank you Mollinary for your reply…that is what I hoped.
Cheers!
