Hi, I've been looking for miniatures in this size that tend toward the abstract toy side of the scale which would be good for playing a sort of Victorian/Edwardian wargame similar to Little Wars. I see one company called Little Britains available via Spencer Smith makes something, any others?

I like their Shiny Toy Soldier (STS) range. Also Irregular Miniatures 42mm ranges are great.

I use the Shiny Toy Soldiers for Mexican/American War types. I really like the look of them.

The "Little Britons" range is made by Spencer Smith. There is no separate company called "Little Britains".

I'm a fan of the Little Britons range as seen here. link

There are pictures of some Irregular 42mm figures in the two most recent posts.

To be a bit more pedantic: 'Little Britons' are made/designed by Aly Morrison and cast by Spencer Smith Miniatures. Just as some 'Tradition' figures are cast by Spencer Smith Miniatures.

Both are available via Spencer Smith.

Appreciate the clarification about Spencer Smith Website and see there are indeed two ranges STS as well as Little Britons, been looking around and also there seems to be a firm or was a firm in Austria called HWG Modelle who make semi round 40mm. They don't seem to be available anywhere though.
