Got primed for it from the article in Time magazine. My friends and I just ate it up in the theater. Rode home talking about it the whole way, complete with "laser sword" sounds and attempts at imitating "Lord Daver's" voice,
And like LotR and Dune, it had a noticeable influence on our D&D campaigns.

For me, though, it's the soundtrack. First one I ever bought, and listened to it hundreds of times – gotta love 8-tracks! (and vinyl, and CD)

You should – it's really really good and I thought it had the best ending (final scene) of any of the films.

The first three original films, I loved them. Especially "The Empire Strikes Back".
