Is it really July already ?

There's a lot of new stuff to cover on the Solo Wargamers Association Lone Warrior Blog ( lonewarriorswa.com )

Paul Le Long reviews Charles Wesencrafts THIRD wargaming book – the previously unpublished Seven Steps to Freedom PDF link which is focused on the French & Indian Wars and the American Revolution. And it's as good as his previous volumes!

Rob Morgan reviews Cottonclads! by Donald S. Frazier PDF link and rates this volume on ACW naval battles very highly.

Rich Barbuto writes on Miniatures Parade Vol1, issue 3 – from Spring 1968! PDF link This is wargaming in its infancy – but perhaps more informed than some assume.

Rob Morgan takes an indepth look at Osprey MAA 491 Armies of the Volga Bulgars & Khanate of Kazan PDF link and suggests some sources for figures for this less well supported era.

Paul Le Long offers a detailed look at a new rule set Bloody Big Battles PDF link and is very impressed by it.

Mike Crane gives an overview of the 1:4800 scale WWI ships from MY models PDF link with plenty of pictures included.

Rob Morgan writes on the fleetline 1:1200 scale USS Roanoke link

Seventeen years after his passing the much missed David Barnes' last article for Lone Warrior "The War Goes On" PDF link is reprinted from Issue 128.

And finally there is an article from Lone Warrior 127 where Aaron W. Throne describes Campaign Notes for a Grand-Strategic Game PDF link – an excellent read.

Lots of stuff on lots of subjects – hope you enjoy the latest offerings !
