The Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) gaming group took a trip back to Middle Earth to fight a Friday mega-battle and Saturday tournament. We had 6 players at the Friday group game and 9 at the Saturday Tournament.

Hello all;

Several of us meet up at Dragon's Lair on Saturday for our annual "Return to Middle Earth" tourney. Nine of us battled it out in the ruins of Osgiliath and the surrounding country side of Gondor. There were Elves, Easterlings, Orcs, and those pesky Dwarves. As the Gondorian captain became suddenly ill and couldn't make it, the Gondorian Army didn't take the field to defend their homeland. Get well Nathan. Other than an inquiry into an allegation of doping involving Michael Lisanti's troll, the event went along without a hitch. Here are the results:

Michael Lisanti: Hunter Orcs (The win is under protest by the Dwarven Army lead by Thorak Okenshield pending the results of the Troll doping inquiry)

Samuel Lisanti: Dwarves

Andrew Koch: Rohan

Nathanial Lisanti: High Elves

Chris Lisanti: Easterlings

Jeremy Randall: Easterlings

Keith "Thorak Okenshield": Very short Elves

Mark Leroux: Wood Elves

Art Douglas: Easterlings

Keith, using his Palantir (I would say loaded) dice, out rolled the entire mob to claim the Frodo Action figure with Kung Fu grip door price. The TSA will not doubt strip search him on his return flight home!

Special thanks to Charlie Torok who set this whole shindig up, thanks Charlie!

And special thanks to Dragon's Lair San Antonio Texas for hosting us and providing prize support. Cliff, we love you man!!!!
