Some of you may have missed the significance of the topic labelled "1st July" , which appears with the Board reference of "Canadian Wargaming"

The topic is actually about marking the centenary of the Battle of the Somme, which started on the 1st July, 1916 at 7:30am. It is a battle of deep significance for the Allied nations that took part, beyond the simple military outcomes. Please go and have a look:

I was lucky enough to be at home today and watched most of it. Very moving, very poignant.
