I know there are a couple companies that make hexed terrain….GHQ, Kallista(sp)?….any other manufactures? Thanks |

Gamecraft Miniatures makes some for 1/285 gaming. HyGround make plastic hex tiles There is a kickstarter for TerraTiles but they are 2D. |

GHQ hex terrain is simply precision cut insulation, may even be the crumbly white stuff. |

I cannot recommend Kallistra highly enough. Expensive, yes, but one of the most used (and useful) sets of wargaming stuff I've ever bought. High quality, durable and looks great. |

If you are going to do your own look for foam cake dummies like these: link 6 inch across 3 inches thick for $1.80 USD With the right hot wire foam cutter you should be able to get at least 1/2 inch thick slices. Here are some I made back in the day. link
