So I've stayed away from most of the flyers for 40K. I have a Tau one from more than a decade ago which was one of the earliest Tau releases from Forge world and the Chaos Dragon thingy because I thought it looked cool. I haven't actually painted that yet.

But this is a neat idea. And not a bad price for two 28mm plane kits plus the rules. I think with some of the sets you save about $30 USD over retail.

I have Necron and Tau armies. It would make most sense to get that one to play some fighter games. I don't know that I would use the models for more than terrain in 40K but the Tau plane would make some cool scenery or objective pieces in infinity too. But the Ork fighta-bomba thing looks so cool . . .

This and the Knights centered-game that came out recently seem like a good idea; they leverage existing models and provide another way to use these models. Seems like a win-win.

I agree. I really like some of the planes they have put out but don't really see a need for them in the games. This would give me a reason to buy them and then I could use them as objectives in sabotage missions and so forth in ground games.

Seems like GW really wants money/cash.

$50 USD+ a model and you can get a book for $24. USD

Oh, haven't we already covered the case for genuine businesses wanting to make money?

Are there many people who don't want cash? Do you have cash that you don't want, Mithmee? I'll take it!
