Played a Patrol mission using my 10th mountain division squad. Tactical rules were a combination of Combat Patrol and Force on Force. Report and scenario here:

Enjoy

Good grief, Joe, that was an easy mission!? The LT needs to be fired! His plan to get LaBell back in the saddle got him whacked, AND the HVT that showed up got away.

A great looking fight; I've always been a big proponent of Ambush Alley/Force on Force, even though I haven't played them in quite sometime. As always, thanks for posting, and looking forward to more.

Jack

Jack,
Thanks, it is not Sgt Rock but you do what you can! I really like the source books; Somalia feels different than Afghanistan which feels different than Iraq.
Grunt's Forward is written. Just need to pretty it up with some pictures. Problem is I am having so much fun playing right now that there is no time for that!

Cheers

Joe,

Yeah, Sgt Rock is just kind of a goof for me, but it was fun and I'll look to keep it going. I've become too much like you: I'm playing too much to get anything else done, and I'm playing too many different campaigns at once!

I like the Force on Force scenario books too, and have several of them. I want to pick up the "Classified" title.

V/R,
Jack

There are worse things than ADD! The Classified book is very good. The only thing is it only has 2 WW II scenarios, one of which is pretty weak.

Interesting. Heck, for the Classified book, I don't want any WWII scenarios, I want modern special operations-type stuff. Is that not what the book is about?

Jack

Jack,

That is exactly what it is about. there is good variety too.

Cheers
