I got a 2'x2', thin, "mouse pad" type battle mat that was shipped folded in quarters.

Anyone know of a way to flatten it?

Try a hair dryer.

Or just lay it out in the sun on a hot day. (It might melt, though, if your in LA this week!!)

Hang it up with clamps and put a small weight on the clamps on the bottom of the mat.

One possibly risky way depending on the material the mat's made of is to put a damp sheet over the top of it and iron it!

Flatten it with a postage stamp: send it back to the retailer and ask for one to be posted to you in a tube…

And ask for a refund on the postage. That sounds like a ridiculous way to mail the product.

John – That's the way the manufacturer sells it!

That's just silly.

I won't be buying any of them.
