They're hipster steampunk pirates. The tricorne is the steampunk equivalent of a fedora. |

Feeling serious deja view. Armand, are you sure you've not posted these before? You do on occasion repeat yourself. The decolletage, or exposure in general, is a bit much for even my apologetic ways, but be that as it may… I generally think of VSF pirates generally either 'lost colony' throw backs, or posturing 'steampunk'. Tricorne explicable in either case. Now, the occasion mad dictator pirate is another matter entirely. Unless he's REALLY mad. Doug |

Wasn't there a discussion about terminology here recently? "Lacepunk" was one proposal for an 18th century equivalent,IIRC. |
