My gaming group is diversifying a little from its usual historical bent to incorporate a bit of fantasy gaming, using the Dragon Rampant rules. As everyone dives for the different army troupes (Dwarves and Orcs are gone) I am keen to do a Human raiding force based on the "Riders of Doom" type idea from Conan the Barbarian. So I'm looking for some 28mm fig suggestions for both Cav, Infantry and lighter troop types. GW Chaos figs are an obvious initial point and for some toned down figs that is a good start but I want brooding and nasty not an over the top CHAOS type of look. Thanks! |

A lot of the redbox figures would work. |

Always loved the Mark Copplestone Barbarians. Now that I have started playing Dragon Rampant it would be a great excuse to pick these up again and paint up a proper fantasy barbarian army. Anyone carry the Milton line in the States? |
