Anything will go.
In 28mm, I like Cadians are generic "scifi" troopers amd they look nice and regimented as Unity troopers. If you want to look less warhammer, file off the imperial eagles and whatnot. Precursors are of course eldar and K'Erin can be orks just fine :) |

I've wanted some of the shock troopers since forever, but I've never seen them in the "flesh". Are they pretty decent figures up close? |

The Wargames Factory Shocktroopers are excellent figures modeled in nice active stances. Some of the weapon set-ups are not to my taste(under-slung grenade launcher), but nothing that cannot be easily remedied. There are several variants of weapons, helmets, and also the heavy weapons packs. I can't recommend them enough.
I have built a Neu Swabian army out of them, using the OOP GW Rhinos and Predators as their vehicles. The hands are proportioned nicely, not oversized as in a lot of other 28mm figures. |

Very cool :) The kid wants some 28mm stuff, so I may have to grab them next I buy things. |
