Just get one truck and then use appropriately colored cotton to make the trailing dust cloud.

Waco, at that price I might as well get Old Glory (with Army Card)

I agree that you should look at Gaming Models and Old Glory with the "Army Card." I tend to use Gaming Models more when I am looking for something unique like their GMC dump truck.

Depending on the country, Zvezda is a good one to check. They have the German Opel Blitz, Russian Zis-5 and British Matador and they are around $3.50 USD at my local shop.

But are the fast to put together? Not looking to build "fiddly" models

In my experience the Zvezda are not bad and cheap but would rate them as VERY fiddly!

Sculpt one yourself, and cast it in plaster of paris

You might also wait to see if Plastic Soldier Company repeat these in 15mm:

I have a few Gaming Models russian trucks and I'm happy with them. Very reasonably priced, no assembly, just wash and paint.

Just passing along some word of mouth info regarding Zvezda.

As long as its Russian models, they are pretty 'good' but as for other countries, especially US, they dont seem to care so much for paying attention to detail.

One even said there version of the M1 and the Bradley was pretty bad as for lack of any real detail.

As for models of trucks from the Zvezda – I had Opel Blitz and ZIS-5. Both models are good detailed. Opel Blitz is much easier to assemble than the ZIS-5. ZIS-5 has a problematic place – hood. It must be assembled carefully.
They look good, the detail is much better than the Abrams and Bradley (Bradley and Abrams can only go as a cheap base for further development with a file). But with the Zvezda has a problem – they are officially closed contemporary theme and modern truck they have only long wheelbase Ural.

Have heard they have made a change on the ZIS trucks and now the hood is a 3 piece assembly. Too late to save my sanity I fear!

Look out for old Corgi construction sets in toy stores, I have picked up a load of Ma Duece types for my 15mm Vietnam that way, also if it's an older set the helo in it does for a Hughes 500 with little effort.
