For fans of Famous Monsters of Filmland or Forrest Ackerman, there's a new Kickstarter to produce a hardback comic book of horror stories inspired by him. John Carpenter and Joe Lansdale are a couple of contributors. link |

Pretty cool. I'm in. I love anthology books like this and Creepshow and the Big Book Of books.
The older brother of one of the guys in the neighborhood subscribed to Famous Monsters, and we'd read his copy got it, so we'd all read his copies until they practically fell apart. |

I'll be in if they are able to make it Canadian-friendly, right now we're at the same $60 USD shipping top-up as the rest of the world. Not looking for free shipping, but for something more accurate; I've sent in the query and they're looking into it. I have a bunch of FM shirts and posters, get the occasional magazine when it covers sci-fi or kaiju themes. |

Just heard back that they've been able to more than halve the shipping costs for Canadians ($60 to $29 USD), so I'm in like Flynn now. |
