I picked this kit up last week. Normally I scratchbuild all my own bases, but the inspiration has been lacking lately, so I thought this would provide some happy shortcuts. Can I say, this is the most disappointing GW kit I've ever purchased. Plenty of bits, but the details is very average: really soft molding. If you want the gory details, I've got some shots on the blog: link Bottom line though: steer clear, a really disappointing product. |

The poor details on many of the bits surprised me as well. |

Agreed. Very soft edged. Like they've used vaseline as mould release. Not up to usual standard. |
