Some Perry plastic mounted crossbowmen. I'm not crazy about these figures.

Need some for my Venetian army though.

You did a very nice job on them.

Really didn't find the horses hard to assemble, but the horse provided is all wrong. It looks like an oversize race horse. Wish they'd make the MAA horse slightly smaller and thicker, a lighter cavalry horse smaller yet, and a archer horse (nag) still smaller and somewhat unkept. Right now I'm using (not satisfactory) these horses for the MAA, the ones in the metal packs for the well armored light cavalry, and TAG horses for mounted crossbows.

The Persian horses from Wargames Factory are supposedly a good choice for smaller horses.

I wouldn't worry, they look lovely!

Yes they are nice but the last big batch I bought from WF a few years ago had no bridle, reins, etc. I told myself I'd figure out a way to quickly simulate the necessary tack.

Sadly, so far, the necessary inspiration has yet to strike. evil grin Anyone aware of some talented person coming up with something?

Did the same. Figured on using 1/16 (think that's the size) art tape (bought at HobbyLobby). Have yet to try it but the plan looks good ? Should work for tack ? I'll apply it before priming. If ah ever get around to it <sigh>
