Hi, Am working on some stuff for the Berlin Brigade, and I was wondering if I could find some good resources on light infantry formations ca. 1985 at the squad and platoon level online? Is there any such information? |

For the Armor, the Berlin Brigade had extra equipment for the tank company. IIRC the company had an extra platoon to start with and there were "spare" tanks to insure the company was kept at "full" strength. Those spares created IIRC another platoon. I would expect the infantry had something similar going on. |

The TO&E yahoo group is pretty good for all things modern. Certainly for Cold War it was the best resource I found as many online sources seem to be more pitched at very late 80s. |

When did the US Berlin Brigade convert from the 13 man rifle squad to the 9 man rifle squad? Before 1985, or after? |

Wargame Vault has several detailed Micro Mark Berlin Bde lists for $1.25 USD each. The 84-88 list shows the 506th as still having 13 man squads. I don't have the 89-94 list |
