"Stenhouse Games" Topic

Does anyone know if Stenhouse Games is still in business? I placed an order with them a few weeks ago through paypal that seems to have gone through but when I attempted to email them today it was kicked back saying the email wasn't valid.

The one at darkharp.com/stenhouse ? I don't think they have been active for ages.

Did you try both? Maybe one is still valid.

It would suck if a company has closed and still has a website presence as if everything was business as usual. Keep us posted if you can as there are some interesting items there.

I have tried both and so far no luck.

IIRC, the website was done by a third party for Stenhouse, then there was a breakdown between the parties and the store was never activated. I would file a dispute with PayPal immediately. I had wanted to get some of their scenario books years ago, that's when I learned of the issues.

Yeah, leaving a 'zombie ' site out there inviting payments is unprofessional at best.

I've already started the Paypal dispute process. It really sucks because I have one of his AWI scenario books and I wanted the other two.

Just an update. I've received my money back from Paypal due to no contact from the seller. Shame really. The editor may want to put a note in the manufactures directory that the company isn't reachable.
