Like many of you I have over the years done this period in various scales. I have decided that the uniforms are just too pretty to be done in the smaller scales. So I have settled on small armies in the larger scale.

How is 6 mm that much different than a good board game?

I have been doing 15mm SYW for nearly 40 years, but if starting afresh I would go for 10mm or even possibly 6mm , because I like big regiments on my table. But then again, its the tactics I like, and not the uniforms. I can understand those who go for larger scales.
